The Heart of Amsterdam is my personal interpretation of the city of Amsterdam. I included most important buildings of the city centre like the palace, central station and old churches. But the map also includes my personal favourites: like a lovely coffeehouse and the shop where I bought my first real grownup-lady-bag. And off course: the zoo.
For an Amsterdam office the Heart of Amsterdam is being reproduced in a 6x4 meter metal construction. The metal artwork fills up a wall at the office which can be seen from both floors. The metal is powder coated black and blue. Led lights light the construction from behind.
